Help Fight Cancer!
These days cancer touches many families in just about one way or another. Did you know your female pet has an increased chance of getting breast cancer if it is not spayed due to the continued presence of estrogen from the ovaries? When a dog or cat is spayed their uterus and ovaries are removed.
Spaying your dog or cat greatly reduces the chances of getting cancer of the breast. The surgery should be performed before the first heat cycle, so that the estrogen does not affect the breast tissue. This can pretty much remove the chance of you dog getting breast cancer.
So remember these important facts, female animals should be spayed. A dog or cat is never too old to be spayed. The earlier the surgery is performed, the less likely your pet will develop breast cancer.
