The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is hosting a Smith's Chicken Barbeque on Friday, August 27 from 4 to 8 pm at the Shippensburg Township Park, 304 Britton Rd.

Tickets are $10 each and the dinner includes 1/2 chicken, your choice of two sides, a roll and butter. There will be 50/50 drawings, Bruster's Ice Cream, Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, vendors and a lot of fun.

Also, from 4 to 8 pm you can CRUISE IN THOSE OLDIES. Bring out those classic cars to make the evening really awesome!

Proceeds benefit "Rallying to Relocate" Capital Campaign.
